This professional learning resource is designed to lead participants through the creation of an instructional resource for English Language Arts (ELA) Performance Tasks. An ELA Performance Task elicits evidence of students’ ability to integrate the domains of writing and research into one culminating event. The resource helps participants develop an understanding of the claims and targets associated with ELA Performance Tasks, in order to create resources that support students’ successful completion of performance tasks.
