This instructional resource is a card game that will help students practice adding and subtracting fractions in a fun and engaging way. It is meant to be used after direct instruction has been provided and as a review.  Students will use index cards with a single number written on each card. The cards will be used to create numerators and denominators for the students to add, subtract, find equivalent numerators and denominators, as well as sums and differences. This resource can easily be adapted to meet the needs of all learners and can even be adapted for multiplication and division strategies. Included in this resource is an exit ticket to individually assess students as well as a rubric to determine next steps.
