Let’s Eat Grandma: Why Commas are Important

In this resource, students are introduced to fifth-grade expectations for comma usage for setting off words and phrases. They will create a graphic organizer of when and how to use commas, and create their own sentences that follow the rules presented in the lesson. Direct instruction for the introduction of rules for using commas is included.
