Shades of Meaning: From Vague to Precise

In this lesson, students will sort, rank and evaluate how different words with similar meanings impact the overall meaning of a piece of writing.   Students will collaborate in pairs to determine shades of meaning in groups of words. They will apply this understanding to their own writing.
