Who Has the Right to VOTE? Examining Historical Sources to Support Research

This lesson will focus on modeling to students the process of drawing evidence from multiple primary sources to support analysis, reflection, and research. Students will be reading excerpts from primary sources on the history of voting in the United States specifically about men, women, Native Americans, and African Americans. Students will work in small groups to examine and analyze primary source materials.
