Lesson 1: 5 - "Which Wood?" (PDF) Maple Student Card
Number five of the ten student cards that provide pictures of the tree's leaves, nuts or fruits, lumber, bark, flower, shape or other information that is used by the student to visually identify a tree species. The answer card uses the same photos, and gives descriptive information about the tree. This card is for Maple, and is labeled "5" - the clue card is labeled "5a".
There are a total of ten sets of "Which Wood" cards for you to choose from. Use woods you have on hand in your shop or in your area, or simply follow the format and make your own for relevant species you wish to use.
