Identity Portraits
Students interview one another, then draw or paint portraits containing symbols that represent the subject’s identity, beliefs, values or areas of interest.
Distance Learning Tips and Tricks
Modify this activity by forming partnerships using a distance learning platform for the interviews. Students then independently paint or draw portraits representing identity, values, beliefs, or areas of interest. After reviewing, invite students to share with the whole group.
