This is a fun way to help younger students learn about penguins. Follow the guidelines included on this project sheet to create a penguin headband for each of your students. If you have younger students in Pre-K or K, perhaps have the pieces cut out ahead of time and walk them through the process of gluing them together and coloring or decorating. If you have older students, grades 1 or 2, you might have them conduct the entire process (cutting included) as a way to practice following instructions and listening carefully to details. (Make sure to bring plenty of extra copies just in case of mistakes and "do-overs")
