¡Arte y más! Lesson 26 | PBS LearningMedia

After the “Hola” song, Sra. Alicia invites students to perform some of the movements from Sevillanas, including manos arriba (hands up), brazos arriba (arms up), manos abajo (arms down), brazos abajo (arms down), and toca las castañuelas (play the castanets). Susana and Sra. Alicia greet each other and introduce the colors blanco (white) and negro (black) while showing black maracas and a little white drum. Sra. Alicia sorts buttons and reviews black and white via counting and a song called “Los botones.” Before saying goodbye, Sra. Alicia shows and describes her Mexican sarape, or shawl. The video closes with the “Adiós” song.
