Resistance and Protest: Then (& Still) Now (Smithsonian Summer Sessions)

What roles have resistance and protest played in US history? How can we think about these two ideas over the long arc of our country’s history? This collection gathers cultural resources from within and without Smithsonian collections and pairs them with Project Zero thinking routines and Liberating Structures to facilitate thinking and discussion about these important themes.

Workshop facilitated by Candra Flanagan (National Museum of African American History and Culture) and Orlando Serrano (National Museum of American History).
