Celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month

This virtual exhibition is inspired by an exhibition of these objects on display at the White House in May 2021. The objects in this collection share diverse and inspiring stories of Asian Americans who have shaped United States history. As you explore the collection and learn more about each person, consider how their lives were impacted by world events or societal changes.

To navigate this digital exhibition, start by clicking on the tile in the uppermost left-hand corner. Then move to the next tile by clicking on the “>” arrow at the bottom of the screen. Look for additional information about each object by clicking on the “i” and paperclip icons.
