Connecting Across Cultures collection is intended to help students raise awareness and increase their knowledge of different cultures that are connected to their own. The object/interview reveal the relationship of the Ashanti people of West Africa to the African Diaspora through the handing down of objects, stories and music.
Goal: For students to learn about their own cultural background and that of their peers.
