Hispanic Heritage Month: Celebrating Art

To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, every week we will explore an aspect of Latinx culture.  In this short collection, students will explore vIsuals created by Latinx artists from a variety of countries and backgrounds.

Students are asked to study the visuals, and think about what they see, what the images make them think and what the art makes them wonder.  Also, what do all of the images have in common?  What makes them different?

This collection was created using resources from the Smithsonian Latino Center and the Smithsonian American Art Museum.
