This collection is inspired by the annual celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. In the art room, I create art lessons based on Hispanic artists and artwork.
For the 2018 HHM, I created lesson plans that celebrated and taught students in 2nd to 4th grade about Mexican culture and the arts. For example, I used the movie COCO as an inspiration about the Day of the Dead. For 5th to 6th grade I used Surrealism to push their creativity through the arts.
