You Are What You Wear

Every day, we all get dressed. How do you decide what to put on? Do you think about what your outfit says about you? In this collection, you will have the opportunity to think about what clothing says about the wearer. Consider the following questions:

What do clothes say about a person?

What do you want the world to know about you based on what you wear?

This collection was created for a World Cultures class to be used in discussions about material culture. Students would be broken into groups, and each group would be assigned to Group A, B, or C. Once students have time to discuss in their groups, they will share their discoveries with the class. The extension will be for them to share their favorite outfits or their ideal outfits and explain what that outfit would say about who they are.
