How Broken Promises Led to the Forced Migration of the Cherokee Nation


This collection will help students understand how leaders uphold or abandon promises made by their governments.  This is part of a broader examination of the essential question.

Essential Question: To what extent should governments be held responsible for upholding promises (treaties) made by previous leaders/administrations?
