Children in the Early Americas

Americas background is quite complex in terms of its history, and has many aspects. When we discuss early Americas and its colonization and so forth, the life of child is often briefed - if at all. The purpose of this collection is to give a general view of children in early Americas, depicting various items relating to the life of a child in this period(before 1865). As you move through this collection, it begins with leather shoes worn by both male and female children at the time. Carrying on to see a tablet with alphabet inscriptions, on is able to see the writings of a teacher as education was important in progressing. We close this collection with the teething ring of a young child.
