Many ancient civilizations like the Egyptians, Romans, Greeks, Chinese, and used astonishing engineering, architecture, and symbolism to create beautiful pieces of art that encompassed their culture. These pieces of art/structures give tell tale signs of the current beliefs and situations of the civilizations  mentioned. More specifically, they show us past civilizations ways of religious, political, entertainment and military expressions.  For example, the great pyramids depicted the religious devotion ancient Egyptians showed.
