Classicism, Roman and Hellenistic Architecture, Connections to the modern era

This collection will be a survey of classical architecture from its origins in early Greece and Rome into our modern era. It will explore themes of architecture, art, history, and some of my personal thoughts on the subjects. Recurring themes will be prevalent throughout many of the resources included in this collection, and I will use examples of architecture from Classical and Hellenistic Greece, the Roman Civilization, Islamic Civilization, Indian Civilization, Early Middle Ages and the Romanesque, Gothic and Late Middle Ages, Renaissance Europe, the Baroque Age, Eighteenth, Nineteenth, and Twentieth centuries.

It is my goal for this curated collection for the layperson to view it and have a more in depth and holistic understanding of architecture, art, and history, and can recognize currents throughout cultures and time.
