Pocahontas: The American Myth

Before you read John Smith's letters about what happened between him and Pocahontas, take a look at these images of the famous woman. As you go through the images, jot down things that you notice about the various images. Do a little digging to figure out what the historical context was. Go to the Teams Discussion Page to post your thoughts. We'll build on those thoughts in class.
