Sharks have had a bad reputation ever since the blockbuster film Jaws hit theaters in 1975, but they are not as vicious as they seem. In fact, sharks are in danger, and you can help them. This learning lab will introduce you to the importance of sharks and some of the threats they face. By the end, you will learn why you should love sharks and how you can help them.

This Learning Lab collection was created by Hana Woolley in the summer 2022 Smithsonian Affiliate Digital Learning and Engagement Internship, in partnership with Emerson Collective and the Smithsonian Associates.
