Who else has walked in this place?

Students will use the following resources to understand how people and objects can help us know who else has  "walked in this place."  After learning about the role of art in documenting the incarceration of Japanese Americans and the role of oral histories in humanizing a place and historic events, students will photograph and research a place in their community and conduct an oral history to gather information they will use to design a local history museum exhibit or art piece for which they will write a an announcement of the exhibit or piece that explains the reasons for the exhibit pieces or art piece.
