This is a curated collection of objects from the period c.1855 to c. 1870. They represent a range of experiences, issues, and questions Americans faced and debated during that era. In this project, you will choose one of these items to analyze. Most of the objects have some information about them. All of the objects have questions that will help you examine and investigate the object more closely.

Your task is to choose one of these objects to analyze and investigate further. You will place your chosen object in a Google slide with the object on one side and your one-paragraph analysis on the other side.
