This Learning Lab collection expands on Stamp Stories: Telescopes by showcasing the historic firsts of the U.S. space program as depicted on U.S. postage stamps. Through the collection of Dr. Sally Ride, viewers will not only learn about important moments in the space program, but also about Ride’s historic achievements as the first American woman in space and first known astronaut to be a member of the LGBTQIA+ community.
