This collection shares activities, videos, read-aloud suggestions, and conversation starters to help your children learn about animals using fun combinations of art and science!

Designed in collaboration with the National Head Start Association, these activities support the following Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework (ELOF) standards:

Goal P-SCI 1: Child uses the five senses to observe objects, materials, organisms, and events.

Goal P-SCI 4: Child gathers information and makes predictions based on prior knowledge and experiences.

Goal P-SCI 6: Child draws conclusions, constructs explanations, and verbalizes cause and effect relationships.

Goal P-SE 9: Child demonstrates knowledge of uniqueness of self, such as talents, interests, preferences, or culture.
