This learning lab highlights data disaggregation within the AAPI community. There is a focus on education attainment and how the separation of the umbrella group name "Asian American and Pacific Islanders" into subgroups helps to properly address specific needs within each individual community. When AAPI's are lumped together, groups facing various issues and needs go unnoticed and are put at a disadvantage. Disaggregated data is critical for inclusion, equity and much more.
