Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center Baile Folklórico Lesson Plans
Lesson goals: Students will extend their knowledge about traditional dance forms in Mexico and the US. Students will learn about the tradition of Baile Folklórico as well as dancer, choreographer, and founder of the Ballet Folklórico de Mexico Amalia Hernandez. Students will create a mixed-media baile folklórico dancer(s).
