In this interactive map, students will gain a greater understanding of U.S. president Richard Nixon’s foreign policy and will learn about his diplomatic achievements. As they work through the hotspots on the map, students will assess the far-reaching geopolitical influence that the Nixon administration had and the extent to which Nixon and his administration eased Cold War tensions in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
