Biskakone Greg Johnson: What Makes a Place Home? | Craft in America: Home

Students will investigate the work of Biskakone Greg Johnson and how it connects with the idea of "Home." Students then complete Activity 1, which asks them to compare and contrast cultural traditions of the Ojibwe people and traditions associated with their own family and community. Students will create an India ink or crayon etching with personal meaning that communicates a message about "Home." Students will complete Activity 2 to reflect on their finished etching and Home.
