With the international debut of The U.S. and the Holocaust, filmmaker Lynn Novick was joined by featured Holocaust survivor Susan (Hilsenrath) Warsinger to discuss the importance of first-person testimony in teaching about Holocaust history, as well as American history. Susan also shared her perspective as a former middle school teacher, why she hopes educators will use the film, and what she believes students can learn from it.
