Waveland and the Three Artifacts | Kentucky Studies
Learn about the 1840s Waveland mansion in Fayette County, Kentucky, and the Bryan family, in-laws of Daniel Boone. William Bryan, husband of Daniel Boone's sister Mary, was one of the early settlers in Kentucky. When he was killed in warfare with Native Americans, he left his son Daniel the property that became Waveland. Artifacts at the mansion include a family Bible, Squire Boone's chair, and a gun made at the gunsmith shop on the property.
