A Trip to Yellowstone | Bicycle Corps

Before the 25th Infantry Bicycle Corps attempted to ride from Missoula, Montana, to St. Louis, Missouri, they conducted a trial ride in the Summer of 1896. On this ride, the soldiers traveled from Fort Missoula to Yellowstone National Park. Lieutenant James Moss packed a camera along with the gear for the trip, with which the soldiers had a great time taking silly photos around Yellowstone.
