Celebrating Nebraska Pollinators Interactive Science Lesson
This interactive lesson focuses on how bees use organs to gather and process sensory data that becomes learning, highlighting bees’ critical role as pollinators in symbiotic relationship with plants. Learners get a “bee’s eye” view of flowers, meet Nebraska’s diverse bees, explore bee anatomy in 3D, and see how repeated input becomes behavior-guiding memories. They then make and support a claim, have a choice of short, creative essays; and get ideas on taking the lesson out of the classroom into the outdoors.
