Learn about the Pansy Craze that swept New York City, Los Angeles, and other U.S. cities in the late 1920s and early 1930s. Using video, discussion questions, and activities featuring archival images and newspaper articles,  students learn that the past, in some ways, was more tolerant and less restrictive than our own times.
