The Falls of the Ohio is a geological feature located in the Ohio River bordered by the cities of Louisville on the Kentucky side of the river and Jeffersonville, Clarksville, and New Albany on the Indiana side. The Falls has several claims to fame, but it is best known today for the fossilized remains of a Devonian-age coral reef located in its rocky ledges.
