Children will learn about the parts of a tree and will explore how individual family members correspond to individual parts of a tree.

Understanding individualities and celebrating differences is a foundational skill for children’s social and emotional development, and self awareness. In this activity, children will describe their own families and learn that families come in all shapes and sizes.
