Strings come in many sizes. Most have the same shape. Most are wooden, with four strings, played by pulling a horse hair bow across or plucking with your fingers. The smallest and highest is the violin. The biggest and lowest is the bass. A harp is an open frame with 47 strings you pluck to play.
