Outdoor Idaho explores the hobby of Rockhounding, taking viewers to north Idaho for  star garnets, eastern Idaho for opal, and the Owyhees for agate and jasper.

Through discussion, video clips, and a lab activity, students will be gathering knowledge about minerals in Idaho and how many can form by crystallization.
