Symbiotic Relationships | Tending Nature

The Klamath River Basin, specifically the river and the salmon, carry a significant purpose and ecological importance to nearby tribal groups. Students will learn about the cultural and ecological relationships between the river, the salmon, and the local tribes using tribal voices and art. Throughout this lesson, the theme of "Tending Nature" is highlighted and explored.

Students will read and answer questions about tribal groups in the Klamath River Basin and their relationship to the environment, specifically the river and the salmon.
