This audio brings to life the story of Cherokee artists and the manner in which basket making helps them explain their connections to family, land, and community.
There are two components to the support materials based on the initial listening and reading of content. In Lesson Plan Part 1, students are asked to create an informational article. In Lesson Plan Part 2, students are asked to design and create a paper basket.
