Dakota & Ojibwe Beadwork | Worn Within

Can you tell the difference between a Dakota and an Ojibwe beadwork pattern? Stick with host Susan until the end of the episode and you'll be able to notice the differences.

The Dakota and Ojibwe people are two of the major tribal nations living in Minnesota. The creation story of the Dakota people have them originating in Minnesota, while the Ojibwe people followed their prophecy and migrated from the West. Both tribal nations settled in this area long before the French and Europeans.
