In these Hero Elementary activities, children learn about land forms and bodies of water in their neighborhood and the world. They ask questions, make models, find information, and share information. They compare how the land forms and bodies of water are alike and different. They develop models of these land forms and bodies of water to investigate Earth’s systems and ways to model those systems. And they connect what they learn to the land forms and bodies of water that are in their own local environment.
