When the COVID-19 pandemic hit in 2020, educators were put to the test, helping students and their families deal with the sudden transition to remote learning. In this video, Kentucky educators and counselors explain the importance of helping students identify and deal with their emotions. They describe how student well-being became the priority during this traumatic time. SEL benefited students in distance learning and again when the transition was made back to in-person learning.
