Exploring Theme through Frank Lloyd Wright
Throughout his life, Frank Lloyd Wright was called various names. Many saw him as a revolutionary, while others thought him a fraud. And while people called Wright past his prime at several junctures of his career, he proved naysayers wrong time and again by reinventing his style and contributing innovative designs to the field of architecture.
In this activity, students will study the key themes that were present in Wright's life and embodied in his character. Video clips discuss the the highs and the lows Wright experienced in his life and how he persevered to become one of the most well-known architects in American history.
