Students explore visual storytelling by developing a character and creating a comic strip. After watching a video excerpt from the PBS KIDS series PINKALICIOUS & PETERRIFIC®, children brainstorm different traits as they create a comic strip character. They also explore elements of storytelling, such as plot, dialog, problem, and solution. Then they put it all together to create a multiframe comic strip featuring their own unique character.
