Twain's Final Chapter and Legacy

In this media gallery, students will interact with clips from the Ken Burns' film Mark Twain. Through these clips and the associated discussion questions, students will evaluate the impact people and events had on him, and the legacy he created. In the support materials, you will find videos from Mark Twain scholar, Jocelyn Chadwick, where she provides educators guidance on teaching the film, discussing theme and style. We also provide transcripts of the videos, as well as activities to complete with your students that will extend their learning.
