Through a series of inquiry based tasks, learners will describe how people feel about the virus, investigate the science of this virus, and explore public health measures, which are things that are happening in your community or may happen soon to keep COVID-19 from spreading. Each task in this Smithsonian Science Education Center guide is structured in a way to help young people (and you) to: (1) Discover the answers to the question in your own environment; (2) Understand the science that underlies the question; and then (3) provide guidance to help you and the young people you care for act on your new scientific knowledge.
