Meet the Brugger brothers of Upstream Farms in Albion, NE. Joseph and Matt are the fourth generation of their family to farm. They started Upstream Farms as college students, helped by UNL’s Engler Ag Entrepreneurship program. Upstream produces beef, corn, and soybeans, as well as hops and whiskey. They add value by taking what they produce directly to consumers.
