Contrasting Views on Early 20th-Century Immigration | Interactive Lesson

This short interactive lesson is designed as an activator activity to generate student interest in the topic, activate prior learning, and prepare students for the lesson to follow. Students will analyze two major contrasting views on early 20th-century immigration in America. They will watch a short introductory video and analyze two period poems that reflect these views. Students then will answer the lesson’s essential question in a short written response.
