In this lesson, students will grapple with the concept of “justice,” examining it through the lens of Lea Tsemel and her legal work, as well as from the perspectives of those who work by her side and against her. Students will delve into international law with regard to human rights and will assess Lea Tsemel’s strategy of using the legal system as a lever of social change.
